- Micro Hematocrite Tubes
VITREX micro-haematocrit tubes are quality products that conform to international standard ISO 12772.
The tubes are supplied fire polished at the colour-coded end, which we recommend should be sealed with VITREX Sigillum Wax. Fire polishing reduces wear on the centrifuge seals. Supplied with colour-coding on the packaging and on the tubes in:
· Plain (blue colour)
· Sodium heparinisation (red colour)
· Ammonia heparinisation (green colour)
· Lithium heparinisation (orange colour).
Each heparinised tube contains at least 4 IU heparin as prescribed by the Standard.
The tubes are available in two types of packaging: Dispenser vials of 100 tubes each for hygienic and easy handling; and economy cardboard boxes, which reduce transport and handling costs. Special requirements regarding marking, dimensions or impregnation can be met.
The Sigillum Wax plate has 2x24 numbered positions per pair, which makes it easy to seal and transport samples. Each pair can be forced apart and used separately. The even wax layer ensures uniform sealing
- Precalibrated Pipettes
- VITREX pre-calibrated pipettes are for users who require very accurate capillary tube volume. The pipettes are manufactured to ISO 7550.
- VITREX Tolerances:
1-5 µl: Acc ±0,30%, CV 0,60%
10-200 µl: Acc ±0,25%, CV 0,50%
- Packaging:
Cardboard vials of 250. The tubes are in a standard length of 125mm and each tube is provided with a colour code for the volume from its base up to the ring-mark.
- Blood Gas Capillary Tubes
- Vitrex disposable capillary tubes for blood gas analyses are made from heavy walled glass, suitable for 2,3 mm Ø adaptors.
- Uniform heparinization, careful fire polishing, heavy walled tubes and robust end-caps secure proper function and reduce operating risk. The strict demands on function and quality for the VITREX-products are your guarantee.
- Choose your Vitrex Blood-gas-Capillary tubes according to diagram shown below. Just indicate article number and type. The types have been manufactured under strict control and are in accordance with current standards available in 3 lengths: 75 mm, 100 mm and 125 mm. Packed in vials of 250 pcs. Special types upon request.

- End - to –End Micropipettes
VITREX end-to-end pipettes are for users who require easy and very accurate capillary tube volume measurement. The pipettes are manufactured to ISO 7550.
VITREX Tolerances:
0,5-10 µl: Acc ±0,50%, CV 0,75%
20-100 µl: Acc ±0,50%, CV 0,60%
Glass vials containing 100 pcs. The vials have a dispenser top, making it easy to shake out one tube at a time, thereby ensuring hygienic handling. The dispenser tops are colour-coded to indicate the tube volume in conformity with ISO 1769. Ten vials are packaged in a sturdy carton in order to protect the tubes from damage during handling or transport.)
- Capillary and Melting points Tubes
- VITREX capillary tubes and melting point tubes are quality products perfect for the handling and transport of small volumes of liquid, melting point determinations and many other purposes. The tubes are uniform and are cut at right angles.
- Select your VITREX capillary or melting point tubes from the table below. The tubes are supplied in vials of 100 or in boxes of 500 or 1000. Customers' requirements for other dimensions, tolerances, sealing and impregnation can usually be met.
